Yūgen and YHA joined forces for a special community event at Bryn Gwynant, bringing together supporters, outdoor enthusiasts, and local advocates in a campaign to help save this iconic Snowdonia hostel from closure. Set against the stunning backdrop of Eryri National Park, the event celebrated the importance of accessible outdoor spaces, adventure, and the role that Bryn Gwynant has played in inspiring generations of walkers, climbers, and explorers.

This event photography project focused on documenting the atmosphere, passion, and community spirit of the day, capturing authentic moments that highlighted the significance of preserving Bryn Gwynant's future. Through a blend of documentary and storytelling photography, the images were created to support awareness campaigns, social media content, and future promotional material, helping tell the story of a community coming together to protect a much-loved part of the Welsh outdoor landscape.
