Yugen partnered with the YHA to support Bryn Gwynant and help protect it from closure by hosting an adventure weekend designed to bring people together and raise awareness.
I was brought in to capture the event, documenting not just what happened, but the atmosphere, the people, and the purpose behind it.
The focus was on keeping everything natural and unobtrusive. Rather than staging moments, I documented the weekend as it unfolded, from group activities and shared experiences to the quieter, more candid moments in between.
This approach allowed me to create a genuine visual narrative that reflected both the energy of the event and the message behind it.
More Than Just an Event
This wasn’t just a brand activation, it was about community, adventure, and protecting a place that matters.
Set against the backdrop of Snowdonia, Bryn Gwynant provided a powerful setting. The landscape, the people, and the shared purpose all came together to create something that felt real and meaningful, which comes through in the final imagery.
The final content gave Yugen and the YHA a strong bank of imagery and video to use across their marketing, social media, and future campaigns.
By focusing on authentic storytelling, the visuals help communicate not just what the event was, but why it mattered, making it more engaging and impactful for their audience.
