About Me
Hey, I'm Pete. A Photographer, filmmaker, occasional musician, outdoor enthusiast, adventurer and someone who still thinks becoming a pilot would be a brilliant idea, despite having absolutely no idea how I would fund this idea.
I’m based in the Peak District, working with couples, brands and businesses across the UK and beyond. I came to photography through my love of the outdoors, but somewhere along the way it became much more about people, stories and the little moments that make something worth remembering.
I also started playing music later in life. I play a few different instruments, and I'm determined to get better.
Will I ever become a professional musician?
Absolutely not.
But I'm having a great time trying. play A clue of what I ? One instrument requires a surprisingly large amount of breathing, another is soft and mellow and another fits rather conveniently in a pocket, and apparently none of them are going to pay the mortgage.
Any guesses?
Weddings
For weddings, I’m not interested in turning your day into a photoshoot, I want you to actually enjoy it. The nerves, the laughter, the chaos, the quiet moments, the questionable dance moves and everything in between, I'll be there to capture it as it happens. My aim is for your photographs and film to bring you straight back to how the day felt, rather than simply showing you what it looked like.
Brands & Businesses
Commercial work is a little different. When I'm working with a business or brand, the camera isn't just there to make something look nice. The images or film need to do a job.
That means understanding your brand, getting the details right, thinking about where the content will be used and creating something that represents your business properly.
I love the creative side, but I'm also a bit obsessive about getting things right. If it's going on your website, advertising your business or representing your brand, "that'll do" isn't really an option.
I've also lived in Australia and New Zealand two places I absolutely loved and still miss, and I think living overseas gave me a slightly different perspective on travel, people and the places around us.
These days, I'm lucky enough to call the Peak District home.
It's probably why you'll find me happiest with a camera in one hand, muddy boots on my feet and an idea of where the next adventure might take me.
A simple approach to photographing real moments as they happen
Alongside my digital work, I have a deep passion for analogue photography and the traditional craft of film. I'm fortunate enough to develop and scan my own film and create darkroom prints, giving me a deeper appreciation for the art and process behind every image. The patience, intentionality, and storytelling that film photography demands continue to influence the way I approach all of my work, helping me focus on meaningful moments rather than simply taking photographs.
I take a relaxed, unobtrusive approach, allowing moments to happen naturally rather than forcing them. This helps me create photographs and films that not only look beautiful but also feel true to the people and stories behind them.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me exploring the countryside, riding motorbikes, playing music, or planning the next adventure.

Exploring wild places, chasing great stories, and capturing mome
Driven by Adventure
Photography and filmmaking have taken me far beyond where I ever imagined—from remote mountain ranges and rugged coastlines to destinations across the world. My passion for adventure, travel, and the outdoors is at the heart of everything I create. Whether I'm hiking before sunrise, exploring a new country, or discovering hidden locations closer to home, I'm always searching for authentic moments and unforgettable landscapes.
Creating powerful imagery
for brands.
From the UK to international projects, I work with brands and businesses to create photography and film that feels real, human, and intentional. Whether it’s a small independent or an established global brand, the focus is always on telling stories that connect, not just content that fills space.
The Process

01. Connect
It all starts with a conversation. You get in touch and tell me about your wedding, brand, or project, what you're planning and what matters most. From there, we’ll make sure we’re the right fit.
Share your story

02. Conceptualize
We shape the vision together, refining ideas, timelines, and the feeling you want your images and film to carry. This is where clarity and intention come together.
Develop Your Vision

03. Create
I document your story in a natural, unobtrusive way, capturing real moments, emotion, and atmosphere as they unfold. Honest, timeless, and true to you.
