When Barbour commissioned me to create promotional imagery for their new Storm Force collection, I headed to the rugged landscapes of Northumberland to put the range through its paces in the environment it was designed for. With exposed coastlines, dramatic skies, and ever-changing weather conditions, Northumberland provided the perfect backdrop to showcase the collection's performance, durability, and timeless outdoor style.

As a commercial photographer specialising in outdoor lifestyle and brand storytelling, my aim was to create authentic imagery that reflected the spirit of adventure behind the Storm Force range. Rather than relying on studio setups, we embraced the elements, capturing the collection in real-world conditions to highlight both its technical features and its connection to the British outdoors.

The resulting photographs combine striking landscapes, natural light, and genuine moments to create a visual narrative that aligns with Barbour's heritage while showcasing the capabilities of the Storm Force collection. This project demonstrates how strong commercial photography can help brands connect products with real experiences, creating imagery that feels both aspirational and authentic.
